About Lizzie
Hi, I’m Lizzie, an Endorsed Midwife and Registered Nurse based in Perth.
My approach to midwifery is shaped by my roots in holistic healthcare. Growing up and in early career I worked in my parents’ family practice with my dad, an Integrative GP, and my mum, a Psychotherapist and Yoga teacher—where I saw first-hand the power of compassionate, continuous care. Families would return through up to four generations and I learned that true wellbeing and healing happens when care is personal, respectful, and comprehensive.
That philosophy continues to guide my work today. My role is to provide evidence-based, holistic care that honours your choices, respects your body, and helps you feel confident and connected as you bring your baby into the world.
My path to midwifery began in Queensland, where I completed a Bachelor of Midwifery and Nursing Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast. After graduating, I joined The Townsville University Hospital’s rotational program, working across the Emergency Department and Maternity Services.
When I moved to Perth during the COVID pandemic to be closer to my family, I found my home here both personally and professionally. Over the past four years at Fiona Stanley Hospital, I’ve provided tertiary level care for women in Antenatal Clinic, Birth Suite, Postnatal Ward, the Maternal Fetal Assessment Unit, and Visiting Midwife Services. Working within a multidisciplinary team has strengthened my understanding of the many supports available to women navigating complex pregnancies.
I’ve had the privilege of working with women and families from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences. This has deepened my commitment to culturally safe, accessible, and respectful care, ensuring that every woman feels seen, supported, and empowered throughout her journey.
Through my private practice, I’m proud to offer continuity of care in the community, supporting women with personalised antenatal and postnatal care that blends holistic values with clinical expertise.
